Sea Thrift at Widemouth Bay

"Sea Thrift was a lovely property in a fabulous location. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable beds. So close to the A39 so we could get out and about easily without driving down too many little country roads. Lovely quiet area at night with fantastic views of the amazing sunsets. My only gripe would be the lack of a washing line and perhaps a washing machine."

"Host was great with the communication before our stay. Excellent little accommodation for exploring all the best beaches in North Cornwall. Chalet was basic but cosy and had most things we needed other than no iron and no Wi Fi connection, phone signal was non existent but was actually nice to escape all the tech and shut off for a few days. The pool was great and we went in there every day of our 3 night stay. The pub and bar were a nice addition and had some kids entertainment, music and bingo on the evenings during our stay which our 5 year old enjoyed and there was a little climbing play area for him too. Food was also served in the pub which was OK but maybe a tad overpriced. For supermarkets and stores, a short drive to Bude was needed this was less than 10 mins drive away from the accommodation. We visited Widemouth bay beach which we drove just a few minutes to which was beautiful with a little cafe which served Gluten free baps. On day 2 we visited a beach in Bude called Summerleaze beach which was stunning with soft warm sand and crystal clear waters, we collected some lovely rocks and searched for creatures in the rock pools, really pretty beach and Black Rock beach was right next to it which also looked beautiful. On our drive back to the chalet, we pulled up in a lay by and admired the views from above the cliff edges, stunning. I was sad to leave and hope to visit again soon and would not hesitate to stay at the same property again."

"The Summerhouse was a lovely clean and well equipped home away from home. The communication and welcome from the hosts was excellent. Location was superb with just a short 5 minute walk to what was a lovely beach."

"Fantastic location away from busy towns but close enough to get to a shop if needed. Beaches are amazing perfect for dog lovers we went to the beach every morning. The house is big enough and has everything you need."
