"What an absolute delight it was to stay in such an historic, enchanted building. Simon the proprietor was warm, friendly and welcoming as were all the staff. The entire place was just oozing with character and personality. Being a well travelled veteran of various suites globally, I would personally rank " The Tree Inn" as one of the most memorable I have ever stayed in. Will most certainly be back."

"We’ve been to Bude a number of times, but this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The location is second to none, right on top of Summerleaze Beach. The accommodation is stunning - huge rooms with high quality furnishings and fittings. And it’s all topped off by lovely little extra touches - cream tea and other provisions on arrival. We will definitely go back!"

"Fantastic location for everything- beach, canal (fishing, paddle board, pedalos), pub/other food places, shops, fishing tackle shop! All within 5-10min walk. Quiet location. Lovely shower and useful additional toilet in main bedroom with under basin storage. Great (warm) outdoor shower, very handy when coming back from beach. Decent size carpark space to leave car for the whole holiday! Gina was quick to reply and very helpful. Can’t wait to revisit Bude and would definitely recommend the Chalet."

"We had a lovely short stay at the Sunrise. The hosts contacted us prior to arrival to forewarn us of the road closures for the Bude Carnival and allowing us flexibility with check in (should we have required it) because of the event. When arriving we were met with a warm and friendly welcome. We had a wonderful stay and the breakfasts both mornings were excellent. The B&B is decorated to a high standard and has a lovely cosy welcoming feel. Would recommend and will stay there again on future visits."

"We had a very nice stay. The house is in a good quiet location, close to shops, restaurants, the canal and beach. It’s a little tired but is spacious warm and comfortable and easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 vehicles. Check in was easy. The friendly note with information on the house and locale was helpful. The wi-fi worked well. If you want to use the washing machine and/or dishwasher you need to take your own detergent. A grab rail in the bath would be helpful for those of an older age."
