"This property is ideal. Close enough to Venice proper, but no need to schlep your luggage around the boats and tiny sidewalks to find a cramped in-air conditioned property in the middle of Venice. Hotel Hampton by Hilton is minutes away from Venice for a 1.50 Euro people mover that is quite close to the lobby. Having the ability to park your car at the hotel is great too. Only advice …. Watch out for the scam artists in Venice…they actually wear the uniform of transit police. Master manipulation of a system that sets you up for failure - no humans at night to sell you a ticket - ticket machines with nonsensical information and graphics - actually overpaid for a waterbus ticket and they wanted to impose a fine of 500% because it was technically for a different route. Insane to be fined like patent and small child jumped the turnstile and didn’t pay with and they’re ready and waiting to capitalize on the scheme. Really disgraceful and the lack of empathy was a blemish on all of humanity. No fault of the hotel and isn’t anything they can do, but word of caution if you go to Venice…"

"The loft style room was more than we imagined. We a kitchen and refrigerator/ freezer this was a great find. Noel provided exceptional help and had the rooms ready for us when we arrived and was supper friendly. The restaurant below the building had the best food. A bit slow but well worth the wait and great prices. Lastly loved interacting with Noel the property maintenance/handyman. Also there is a super market across the bridge past the gondala stop that has food nd beer for your stay at great prices. "
