"Great stay in a perfect location. Staff were lovely and breakfast was great. There was a fire alarm at night but it was a false alarm and staff did their best to clarify quickly. Room was clean and really comfy"

Good location.
"Location is very good. Everyone kind, friendly and knowledgeable regarding the area. Hotel is dilapidated, although appears to be clean. Nice breakfast, coffee not so nice."

Great place and helpful staff for fjord cruise
"Wonderful hotel and staff, the two restaurants were very good and we loved the place. The concierge helped us get round trip tix on the daily Hurtigruten/Havila fjord cruise (part of their Norwegian coastal journey has them come into Alesund in the AM and then go down the fjord and back to Alesund ..."
