"Hotel 1904 is a very nice hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful old building but it is totally updated and renovated inside. It is in a great location. It is close to shops, restaurants and the ferry and bus stops."
"Staff were helpful. Room was clean in bed was comfortable had a view overlooking the water. The only downside was when the cruise ship would park there. It was a little noisy, but didn’t last long."

"My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place! "Very good hotel with friendly staff and compared to other hotels reasonably priced! We had an accesible room which was very roomy. The free dinner during the week was discontinued for summer break which was a pity. There were dining options in walking distance where you got 10% off food.
Breakfast was very extensive but if you came a little later, not all options were still available.
Cleanliness was good except the floor of the breakfast room which was sticky all of the 3 days we stayed...
