Lovely hotel on the harbor of Alesund for our one night stop over during our car trip through the beautiful fijords of Norway. Began our car trip here. Had an amazing lunch at Anno's close to the hotel, as well as an amazing time at the Vino Bar (Wine and appetizers) also walking distance from the hotel. Shopping in the area and sightseeing was great. It was a bit difficult parking the car as the available spaces were quite tight and it took some navigating to get out but otherwise would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in great location for exploring Alesund on foot. Limited hotel parking, but there's a parking garage nearby (about £20 per day). Good breakfast, but some hot items are in short supply at times. In the evening, the restaurant meals are good, although the menu is a big limited.

We liked the scenery around the hotel. But we thought it was too expensive compared to the size of the room and we very disappointed about the bicycles! The use of them was the main reason for us to book this hotel. But they were in bad shape and not suitable for us at all!
