"Will never use VRBO to book a stay again! We had a two night stay scheduled at this property that was a terrible experience. We booked this stay three months in advance. The host claims they cancelled last minute due to a gas smell in the apartment. This was a complete lie. Because what truly happened was he double booked our stay with another family and we didn’t find out until we tried to check in and someone else was already staying there! I contacted the host and he claimed we couldn’t stay...

"Everything was as described. Donna was a gracious and welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed for our weekend trip. We enjoyed morning coffee while viewing the lake from the sun room. We took peaceful walks on the path around the lake. The property is conveniently located and within reasonable distance to Baltimore and Old Town Alexandria for day trips. "

"This was such a great property. The views of the river were amazing, and we even saw a few young foxes playing nearby. There was a little miscommunication right at the beginning of the stay, but Joe was really flexible and sorted everything out right away. Would happily stay here again. "
