Historic home so we expect the tiny door into the small room. We expect the themed rooms to compliment the hunter theme. Huge turkey was a turn off above the bed. We did not appreciate the dust all around, old beds, and stains on bedding. Kitchen pots and pans need updating. We ordered out food for most of our meals. Never heard back from with host...

"Great little place to stay in Frederick for a couple or small family. House was clean and up to date with good Wi-Fi and well set up kitchen. Best part was being able to walk into the center of town for shops and restaurants in 5 minutes! Highly recommended!!"

"A perfect location in Frederick. The Carroll Creek Canal is right behind the house and is beautifull! Aaron gave us excellent recommendations as to where to visit and eat. The house is older but clean, tidy and comfortable. We did use the kitchen to cook and gave Aaron a few pointers to improve what he had for utensils. Overall, I would come back again. Thanks Aaron"

"We visited for Thanksgiving. There is ample room to be by oneself, as well as interact with the group. The kitchen is large and works well for mulitple people helping to cook. We did have some trouble with the lights. While the switches are labeled it wasn't always easy to find the switch for the light one was looking for."

"We really only stayed 12 hours while enroute to our final destination.... BUT, the beds were comfy, house was clean and the kitchen seemed well stocked with pots/pans and dishes! I wish we could have stayed longer but we'll definitely keep it on our list to come back to!!"

"Really enjoyed the space. We were multiple families of a girl's club lacrosse team from out of state. The kitchen was large, and we used the grill outside for dinner. The girls had room to hang out together in the loft. We thought we would use the pool, but in the end, we didn't. Nice to have it, just in case. There are restaurants and grocery stores nearby in Eldersburg or Owings Mills. We would definitely stay again."

"Property was very dirty and not ready for us at all when we got there. Towels all still in the laundry along with random socks, dishes in the dishwasher, old moldy food in the fridge, chips in the couch, the list could go on. Was not fun to show up to a filthy house. Location of this house was pretty good, not a rough area. There are 3 real beds and then 2 sleeper sofas not 7 beds like the listing said. Vrbo didn't really care about helping us in our issues either, will not be using it from now...

"Lovely well kept property. It has everything you need. Comfortable beds and convenient location. The only drawback is the front bedroom has LOTS of street noise. I used a fan for white noise and earplugs. It’s on a busy street. Fire Station is nearby too. Great park for kids across the street. Close to a few great restaurants within walking distance."

"This is a quaint old farmhouse hosted by a very nice family. Lots of wildlife in the area and convenient to the Damascus and Gaithersburg area. The kids enjoyed the chickens and fresh eggs and a ride on the ATV."
