"We enjoyed our stay here, the housekeeping was immaculate, the kitchen very modern, and the space downstairs was generous and inviting. Quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors and easy parking. My only concern for seniors like us (in our 80s) was the steep staircase to the upper floor and the big steps in the front with no handrail. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Thank you for a great stay."

"We enjoyed our 2 night stay during a cousins reunion in Gettysburg. Hanover is a quick drive and having a big home and a nice yard was a nice change from staying at a hotel. We invited our cousins to come visit in the afternoon following a guided tour of the battlefields. Our family enjoyed being in a historic home from the same era."

"We stayed here for one night on the way back during a road trip and it was nice! We were a little concerned at first staying in the basement of a house where there were other tenants on the top floor, but ultimately there weren't many disturbances and no one came down to bother us either despite being on the louder side at times. They also supply water and some small goodies which was nice, just took a bit to get used to. Great place if you need to stay a night."

"We have stayed at many VRBO houses, and this by far was the cleanest home we have stayed in. No dust on the floors, or in the corners, the bathrooms spotless as well. The pictures on line are exactly what the house looks like. All the bedrooms are nice size. Kitchen and dining rooms are great. We had a small power outage, contacted the home owner and someone was there to fix the issue within 2 minutes. Could not have asked for better communication with the owner. "We were very pleased with the area and the house. There was plenty of room for more than 8 people and we had 8. My only little complaints would be the old spices in the drawers (expired 2012), the small amount of dirt in the fireplace areas, and the low amount of time for hot water use during showers. All of these are easily over looked by the beauty of the views and of the spacious stone home. Our children loved the "hidden" bedroom upstairs and being able to run around and play hide and seek...

"My husband and I stayed here for a one night stay and it was a great location (15 mins from Baltimore). Quiet neighborhood, the space makes you feel right at home and all the personal little touches really makes you feel welcome. The hosts were very communicative and gave lots of great information for checkin and out. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area!"
