We loved the fun art throughout the house, and the great indoor and outdoor areas to hang out. Loved being able to walk to restaurants in downtown Frederick!
My friend and I enjoyed five nights at the Madison. We were very happy with everything. The beds and pillows were wonderful. Loved the decor and cleanliness. The location was great for exploring downtown Frederick and Carrol Creek and day trips to Annapolis, DC, and Harper’s Ferry.
This property ended up being 30 min away from where our sports tournament was. However, it was amazing and we are so glad we booked it. Super clean and the location was awesome. Such a cute town with fun shops and restaurants. And the property manager was amazing to work with.
A wonderful property in the heart of historic Frederick. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly maintained. Great communication with the owner. Looking forward to many return visits!!!
A friend & I enjoyed a fabulous weekend in beautiful Frederick. The Madison is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! It’s impeccably clean, located in a friendly & quiet neighborhood, bright interior, quality beds & bathrooms, nice outdoor space in back garden. Communication with owner was incredibly responsive. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again!
This property was by far the coolest I have ever stayed in. Very clean. It was in a great area close to the town of Fredrick. Beautifully decorated. Beds were comfy… great outdoor area… my only regret is I forgot to sign the guestbook!!
The location was great- really convenient to downtown and close to the highways for all of our side trips. The house is impeccably decorated and has all of the amenities you need. There is often a lot of noise in these older row houses but not this one! We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the evenings. The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is safe to walk around.
This beautifully decorated home was perfect for a weekday family get together. Walking distance to downtown Frederick and plenty of room for 4 adults and our 8 month old granddaughter. We luckily had beautiful weather to enjoy the private outdoor space. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back when we’re in the Frederick area.
One of our best rentals! Very attractive, great provisions, and comfortable to be in. We were able to connect with one of our children and her husband for the weekend. Enjoyed the battlefields, history of the city, and restaurants.
The house was clean and well appointed. Had everything we needed. It had snowed prior to our arrival which made the on street parking a little messy at times. It was also freezing cold so we ended up taking a car most places but it appeared walking to many downtown places would have been nice if weather had permitted. The beds and linens were very nice. The only issue was that they had a problem with the downstairs bathroom that could not be corrected before our arrival. They notified us just before arrival and did compensate us for the inconvenience. We would definitely stay there again.
Highly recommend this listing for two couples or a family of 4. It was comfortable with easy access to downtown and outlying areas. We have been visiting Frederick for six years now and I have always been intrigued with the housing (row houses) in the downtown area. You can tell they offer a lot of history and if only the walls could talk. We enjoyed our stay.
We're very glad we rented this home for a weekend getaway in Frederick. The home is really nicely designed with a modern kitchen and baths and comfortable beds. The location is great for walking up to Carroll Creek and Market Street to restaurants and shops, and you can park right outside the front door. The neighbors are all friendly. We recommend it.
Our trip was exactly what our family needed and this home made such a difference in our experience. Not a single detail was missed. The decor of the home is beautiful and you feel comfort as soon as you walk in. The home was very clean, had everything we needed, perfectly walkable to sites. The host is also so wonderful to work with. We will certainly plan to head back as soon as we can!
If you want to stay in a beautifully decorated, comfortable house with comfortable beds and linens, spotless bathroom with lots of hot water, easy parking and great communication - rent this house in Frederick. We spent 3 nights here and would try to stay here again. It is not downtown - but in less than 10 minutes you can be parked there or you could walk. The master bedroom suite is big and homey and there is a second master suite. There is a 1/2 bath next to the kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised by the house warming gift of the makings for S'Mores. We are the graham crackers and the chocolates and took the huge marshmallows for our grandchildren. the only thing I would change would be to add additional reading lights on the 1st floor. If I didn't use a Kindle I would not have had enough light without turning on all the bright hi-hat lights. this place is a gem.
My adult daughter and I needed to stay two nights for a big wedding nearby. This place was clean, clean, clean with a beautiful interior and easy parking.
The two upstairs bathrooms and two bedrooms with very comfortable beds (fabulous sheets!) suited us well. The well-equipped kitchen had a Keurig with provided pods that we certainly used.
We also ate the provided graham crackers that were supposed to be used for S'Mores at the house fire pit. Sorry! We needed them as post-wedding dancing recovery treats as we watched the last halves of our two college football teams in the living room. The surround-sound there allowed us to keep the volume low for the neighbors.
Location of this stay: We had one big problem. We were going to be surprisingly cold at this outdoor wedding. Thank goodness, we had several hours Saturday morning to take the short easy walk into the Frederick business district, where we found a delightful selection of layers for us at so many different and pretty stores. We had a great early brunch/lunch at Hooch and Banner.
We are grateful for the stay, and we're figuring out how to get back here with our husbands.
