Also Ariz and Yhara helped me every step of the way with some recommendations, service, and reservations at the resturants (which were all very good). Very great staff and everyone is so nice! Definitely recommend going here!!"

"Loved our stay here, the place is beautiful, lots of different food. The beach has lots of seaweed but the hotel had people cleaning it up. The beach was nice but it is very rocky, definitely recommend water shoes!"

"Property and staff were very pleasant food was very good. Room was clean and fresh. Ocean sea weed is a bit of an issue. Travel from airport to resort was not a good experience. Paid extra for private service that was to be there at arrival. Ha a 40 minute wait and had to share ride with three other people with stops at their resort. Ride back to airport on departure was good though."

"Unfortunately the ocean view was blocked by bushes. They said these bushes were part of the ecology. That said the beach chairs, which did not have covers and were not the same height, were not high wnough to see over the bushes. It really makes no sense to pay for a private ocean view that is not as good as the public view. "

"Went on a girls’ trip to celebrate my friend’s 40th. Hotel property was beautiful, rooms clean, and e-concierge was helpful with decorating her room and making spa reservations. Spa experience was great! Night shows were good. Reserving airport transportation through the hotel provider worked out great. My flight to Cancun was delayed and that was not an issue. A taxi to Playa de Carmen was about 400-500 pesos, not bad for a group that wants to go into town. Cons: There were mosquitos in the rooms when we arrived and although the room was “treated” after our arrival, there were still some mosquitoes and you could hear them at night when sleeping. Main complaint was the food experience. The four of us were disappointed with the quality/options and the lack of Mexican options (no enchiladas or pozole). I will note that we come from San Diego and have stayed at other Hyatt all inclusive hotels with better quality food. Also, some waiters were enthusiastic and helpful and others seemed almost bothered that we asked questions or for recommendations. Pic of view from room."

"Room was outstanding, food was high quality and varied, and the staff were great. I enjoyed to low-key vibe, great service, and effort to provide a slightly upscale experience. My only issue was the terrible beach. It’s completely eroded and covered in seaweed. If you’re looking to spend time on the sand and in the ocean, look elsewhere. It’s a shame because otherwise this place was great."

"All in all - very impressed! I was hesitant from some of the reviews but I am glad we went because it was perfect for our groups needs. We were a group of 13 with children and everyone had such a great time. Rooms - clean and enough space for us 3. We had a top floor which had daily monkey visits and a spacious balcony. Food - the buffet had so many options, we never went hungry. My six year old is super picky and he always had food options. The restaurants for dinner were great! Because we booked with Expedia we had a front desk concierge who booked it all for us for the whole week! Highly recommend. Also the 24 hour bar has pizza for kids and tacos always going so we always had food options! Entertainment- the daily shows were such a hit for the kids, we were always excited to see what was on. Seemed like there was always something going on in the resort, we definitely didn’t see/do it all. Pool/Park - main pool is a fun time! Tortuga pool is more shaded, had a great day there. The water park was the main driver for booking this resort and we only were there one day, it was a great spot for kids but there was so much else to see and do it worked out. Beach - it had some rocky spots but also a great swimming area, no complaints. If you want a good massage there are huts set up on the beach. I wouldn’t say it’s super “high end luxury” but it met all my expectations for a great, safe and fun vacation with kids! "
