"Rarely do I give a bad review, but this Hôtel warrants one. First, Expedia states shuttle available (for a fee) and that is not the case. This is really a step up from a hostel. Bare minimum. We booked a queen bed, got a double. This hotel is for those looking for a bed to sleep and shower. The staff were great- helpful."

"La Darsena di Riva Grande is located right on the lake in beautiful Moltrasio. (Just a 15 minute taxi ride from the Como train station) You can walk to many great restaurants, a gelataria and the ferry station in under 10 minutes. (The ferry gets you to Belagio and Varenna in less than 2 hours) You’ll also be greeted by incredible views from your private balcony or on the lower dock. "The hotel is in a fantastic spot — right on the lake and just steps from Como’s Cathedral and historic center. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a room with a beautiful lake view, which made the experience even more special. Parking is off-site at a nearby sister hotel, just a short walk away. It’s a bit inconvenient but manageable. The room was clean and comfortable, though starting to feel a bit dated and could use some renovation. Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety — definitely a plus."
