"The place was awesome, I loved the bikes they provide to ride around the coast/town. The only downsides I can think of are we thought we booked the coast/oceanfront part of the property, but we ended up in the Clubhouse, a little further back away from the coast. It was great, but I just wished we know that beforehand. And I have to say, the Ocean restaurant's food was mediocre at best."

"Lovely from start to finish! Brandi and Rosemary were so welcoming. We arrived early and Brandi greeted us, welcomed us to park onsite and texted us as soon as a room was available. Rosemary gave us a fabulous overview of the area, and we followed up on several of her recommendations.
Breakfast each morning was both a feast for both the eyes and the appetite. Location is walkable to shops and restaurants and a very short drive to local beaches. This was a second stay at a Lark property and we will definitely seek them out for future travel."
"From the time we checked in, everyone was very friendly and helped us with anything we needed. They even looked up maps for us, told us where there was a good place to eat for breakfast. I highly recommend this motel. "
"We stayed at the Beach House for a 3 day weekend in August. Very easy check in. I was concerned that we would not make the 830PM deadline for check in but the manager emailed earlier in the week and alleviated my concerns.
Absolutely fabulous location for a number of Maine beaches. We prefer Goose Rocks Beach. The inn has beach towels, beach chairs and even bikes that are easy to grab and go. Also very close to Dock Square in the port.
My favorite part was morning coffee on the deck in the morning. I am a coffee snob and generally don't like hotel lobby caffeine beverages. The coffee was fresh and delicious! Tea and hot chocolate are also available. Though I didn't notice this until the last day, there are beverages that you can purchase for happy hour or other times during the day. There is a charming gift shop, which is just as quaint as the inn itself.
Our room was clean with plenty of towels (2 pp) and amenities. Slightly crammed but adequate. The AC worked great for a 4th floor room.
We did not receive room cleaning one day. We had been at the beach and returned by 2pm and the room was not cleaned yet. At 3:30, the staff came around but it was not convenient. They did swap out the dirty towels. Perhaps having the tag on the door indicate "do not disturb" on one side and "please clean" or something similar on the other side.
We will definitely stay again. Very reasonable for a mid-summer quick getaway to the beach! "
