"Checked in online, this was so quick and easy. Hotel room was clean and looked recently updated. The beds were new and comfortable! The breakfast was ok…could have a few more choice but overall fine! Pool could use an update and towels weren’t re-stocked. Overall a good stay and would visit again . "

"We stayed at the Beach House for a 3 day weekend in August. Very easy check in. I was concerned that we would not make the 830PM deadline for check in but the manager emailed earlier in the week and alleviated my concerns. Absolutely fabulous location for a number of Maine beaches. We prefer Goose Rocks Beach. The inn has beach towels, beach chairs and even bikes that are easy to grab and go. Also very close to Dock Square in the port. My favorite part was morning coffee on the deck in the morning. I am a coffee snob and generally don't like hotel lobby caffeine beverages. The coffee was fresh and delicious! Tea and hot chocolate are also available. Though I didn't notice this until the last day, there are beverages that you can purchase for happy hour or other times during the day. There is a charming gift shop, which is just as quaint as the inn itself. Our room was clean with plenty of towels (2 pp) and amenities. Slightly crammed but adequate. The AC worked great for a 4th floor room. We did not receive room cleaning one day. We had been at the beach and returned by 2pm and the room was not cleaned yet. At 3:30, the staff came around but it was not convenient. They did swap out the dirty towels. Perhaps having the tag on the door indicate "do not disturb" on one side and "please clean" or something similar on the other side. We will definitely stay again. Very reasonable for a mid-summer quick getaway to the beach! "
