"The toilet in the washroom flushed by itself every 30-45 minutes and when we told about it to the front desk lady she did not even apologized about and felt bad even we said we had a restless night because of the washroom toilet flushing every 30-45 mins. "

"This property is budget friendly and is located in a central downtown location. The room was average as expected, dated and showing its age. It could use a good cleaning as windows in lobby and room as well as elevators/floors need attention. The breakfast was good with an assortment of options. Pool and hot tub are small but a nice amenity to have. Nighttime outside the hotel is noisy but earplugs help. It’s an older property and expectations should be such. Staff is friendly and service is good. "

"Always liked this place but a few things this time makes me think things are going a little downhill. First, the temperature in the rooms was sweltering and there was nothing you could do to adjust it, other than opening up the sliding door to the little balcony. They did send us up a a fan but evenings were hard to sleep through. Worse was the temperature in the gym. Felt like you were working out in Death Valley in the middle of the summer. Breakfasts were not as good, either. Eggs now seem powdered. Coffee was weak and no way Starbucks’s as advertised. Nice to get complimentary valet but one day after returning our car at 12:30 in the afternoon, we were walking out to go for dinner at 5 and the car was still outside. They forgot to park it. Staff still pretty friendly and good location on Whyte Avenue. But hotel needs to up its game as people will stop coming if they don’t. "

"Close to Edmonton arena, restaurant at hotel reasonable , good food, rooms and hotel better than expected. Stayed in King Suite, parking on site, would recommend if going to an Oilers game downtown, 20 min from Edmonton Mall"

"I had an issue with my room and the staff bent over backwards to sort things out for me in a very speedy fashion. All the staff except one were utterly fantastic. They were super friendly and made me feel valued as a customer. As well…I forgot a couple items in my room, and when I contacted them about it, they were again super friendly and followed up to let me know they’d found my items and where they would be kept until I could pick them up when I’m back in Edmonton. The desk clerk on check in seemed to be ‘phoning it in’ but gave all the info I needed. He wasn’t rude, he just lacked enthusiasm. Location is also fantastic and I would not hesitate to book there again. "

"I do not recommend staying here. First of all, the listing lied: the bed is full size bed, NOT a queen size bed. Next, the apartment is furnished cheaply. For instance, I needed to iron a shirt. There's an iron, but when I asked if there was an ironing board, I was told "unfortunately, there's no ironing board." The curtains are cheap and barely cover the windows, so light comes in on the sides. Finally, and this isn't the hosts fault (because there is a no smoking rule in the apartment), but the apartment smells of cigarette smoke. This is due to other apartments in the building, but regardless whose fault it is, it's still part of the experience of staying here. I would never stay in this Vrbo ever again."
