Good location for Commonwealth events. 25 min walk. But also close enough to downtown to walk to restaurants and bars easy enough. Worlds weirdest parkade entrance and exit but property was clean and staff were great!

We arranged a late check-in which was good because l lost my wallet with the credit card used to make the reservation and the staff were good enough to allow us our rooms using my wife’s card and a photo of my ID thankfully. Rooms were nice and large although strangely, our room had no shower curtain which made washing up a delicate procedure. Other than that it’s a nice place.

Check in was the worst part, did not get to our room until nearly 6. Check in started at 4. Having to wait in line twice was a gong show. Location was great, we walked to the AC/DC concert and back to the hotel!

Overall, the room was very nice. It was spacious and clean. The location is awkward to enter and sketchy at night. Parking is expensive. It’s $40/ night. Avoid the restaurant. The restaurant was awful. If you walk 15 minutes in any direction you can find great options, often less expensive and definitely better food. We went for breakfast. I asked for one egg and toast. They didn’t even cook my toast. I had two pieces of bread and no egg. I couldn’t even get it because they never came back to my table, of course we charged for everything. For $400/night I expected a bit better.

The hotel itself was very comfortable and staff was excellent. The welcome cookie was amazing! Plenty of underground paid parking. This part of Edmonton was pretty run down though. Many closed businesses and generally poor maintenance in this area of the city. The hotel had a security guard in the lobby and there was a police action involving a half dozen officers just around the side of the hotel. While the location worked well for our travels, I would recommend a hotel in a different area of the city.
