This southwest part of Edmonton was fantastic. It's called the Windermere area and it is safe clean and walkable. We walked .8 miles to a delicious Japanese restaurant called Japonais Windemere. Delicious!

Edmonton's a beautiful city. We both lived there for decades, and were back visiting family. Lots to see and do. But, as with most larger cities, be mindful of the traffic.

Edmonton is where I grew up so I have a soft spot for it. There are many great spots to eat in the city now, the river valley is wonderful in the summer for a nice stroll or a run, depending on your fitness level and the big mall, well its still big.

Edmonton is a beautiful city. It is a big city with a small town feel. It has issues with the h housed population and it was evident in our short walk from Rogers Place to the hotel. We didn't feel unsafe, but we did feel sad to see those down & out

We looked at a lot of the residential areas here in Edmonton. We found that there are some amazing communities within this city. The bridges are vital to getting around, but if you are afraid of heights, you might be intimidated. Parks abound!
