Great area of the city to stay in. Shops and restaurants run along Whyte Avenue which is right out the front door of Varscona. Centrally located within the city, giving most travel times of 15 minutes to sites around town (via car).

Perfect location on Whyte ave. The staff was super helpful and the rooms were clean. My only issue was that the room didn’t have a microwave - however there might have been a solution is we had asked for one.

What a wonderful gem located just off of Whyte Avenue. The room was comfortable and the staff incredible. While the restaurant &27 was not opened ( Sunday or Monday) for supper, I did have their continental breakfast Monday morning. I will be staying here again.

Although my stay and my Daughters stay were very short the front desk staff checked us into our rooms late in the evening very quickly and professionally. The following morning we were checked out with great service again from the morning staff. The rooms were very clean and they seemed to have been renovated recently and were very nice. I also would like to mention that I had accidentally booked my room on the wrong dates and when I went through the booking agency they called the hotel and I was fully refunded. This meant a lot to me as we were attending a family emergency at the U of A Hospital. I thank theManagement and Staff for their kindness during this difficult time. I would recommend friends to stay if ever visiting Edmonton and I will definitely make this my go to place to stay. Thanks again.

The Hotel was in an area where alot of drugged out people were on the streets. Hotel room was quiet at night, bed was comfortable and room large enough for a standard room. Stand up shower stall, where you had to turn on the tap and without exaggeration wait 5 minutes for the hot water to come. Door was a bit damaged and needed repair. TV was adequate but could have used an upgrade. It was a 3 star :)
