"Not everything is new at this property, but that is part of it's character. We were pleased to discover that there was a (small - 2 person) lift which made it easier to get our large luggage up to our room. Only negative comment is that the TV in the room was rather small by today's standards, but it was adequate."

"We loved our stay in this beautiful house. Nicely decorated, including lots of lovely pictures. A very well stocked kitchen, with everything you might need for cooking. Plenty of space, lovely living room.The house is in a great location, 2 minutes from the beach, shops etc 1 minute in the other direction. Regular buses take you right into Edinburgh within 1/2 hour. Would highly recommend this home."

"Nice warm cottage"

"Two live wasps were in the room. Owner offered a downgraded room that had toilet outside the room. We had paid for en suite so we refused his offer and he agreed to refund us the money we had paid. I’ve had to message the owner few times to take care of the refund but I haven’t had any update. I now have to deal with the hassle of reporting the matter to the platform to get my money back. This is a headache I could have done without so I could enjoy my holiday. "
