"Had a lovely one night stay. Both rooms were clean an smelt clean they were both spacious and liked that we could see the sea over the roof tops. One down point of hotel were the carpets they were a bit tired.The pool facilities were excellent and not too busy when we went. We ate in the Bistro where we found the food first class and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good with plenty selection the only fault were the toasters they took forever to toast. The staff in in hotel and leisure facilities were all friendly and polite. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Good morning, I just wanted to let you know that I experienced a few problems with breakfast during our stay. Firstly, on Saturday morning, when I asked for a coffee, I was given a half cup of cold black coffee by a young man. I did not say anything at the time. The following morning, I bought my own coffee and noticed that everyone else in the restaurant was being served coffee in a small cafetière. I did not understand why this was not offered to me. Also, on Sunday morning, I ordered Eggs Royale. Instead, I was served two boiled eggs on smoked salmon with what looked like two spoons of mayonnaise. I mentioned to the staff that it was not Eggs Royale, but again I left it, as they did not seem to know how to deal with the issue. We had also booked a table on Friday night and could not understand why there were two different dining rooms — one with tablecloths and one plain. When I made the booking, I believed we would be seated in the main restaurant, as there was nothing on the website explaining the difference. Otherwise, the food on Friday night was good and the bedroom was lovely. However, we travel frequently in Scotland and, unfortunately, I will not be returning. "Our room was amazing, full of character. Bed was super comfy slept very well. The rooms on the first floor for guests were wonderful our favourite being the library. All the staff were lovely. We ate in every night and the food was delicious very good portions. Would highly recommend a stay. "

"We loved our stay in this beautiful house. Nicely decorated, including lots of lovely pictures. A very well stocked kitchen, with everything you might need for cooking. Plenty of space, lovely living room.The house is in a great location, 2 minutes from the beach, shops etc 1 minute in the other direction. Regular buses take you right into Edinburgh within 1/2 hour. Would highly recommend this home."

"Two live wasps were in the room. Owner offered a downgraded room that had toilet outside the room. We had paid for en suite so we refused his offer and he agreed to refund us the money we had paid. I’ve had to message the owner few times to take care of the refund but I haven’t had any update. I now have to deal with the hassle of reporting the matter to the platform to get my money back. This is a headache I could have done without so I could enjoy my holiday. "
