"Wow, what great stay! The hotel very comfortable, clean and in a perfect location. Despite being in the center of a tourist area the windows were sound-proof so we couldn't hear any street noise. The black-out curtains made it easy to sleep in after a late night. Would absolutely stay here again."

"There are a lot of clubs nearby so it was hard to sleep a few evenings. The rooms are cute, but some inconveniences were annoying- like not having a TV in the room (not terrible, but is helpful with kids) and there aren't any refrigerators in the rooms. Hotel staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, but the staff in the cabana area were young and quite unfriendly. They seemed like they didn't want to be there and almost annoyed when we would order from them."

The hotel breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The lobby and courtyard were nice spaces to relax. The location is right in the middle of the Alfama neighborhood with lots of restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Easy to get to and great location for walking around the city. We didn’t need anything fancy as we expected to be outside most of the time. The room itself was just okay. The AC didn’t work in our room so we had to have the windows open, which for our street facing room made things pretty loud. and the room smelled moldy/musky when we got in. But there was so much to do in the area we were content for the one day/two nights we were there"

The shared bathrooms were almost always available when needed and if they were occupied, you could go down a few floors and find a free one. The woman who checked us in was very sweet. She let us store our bags upon check in and promised to call us when our room was ready. She even allowed us to check in earlier than normal.
