After going back and forth between several hotel options, this one ended up being the perfect choice—and I’ll definitely be staying here every time I come back! The location is incredibly convenient—right in the heart of Monterey, walking distance to everything I wanted to explore. Parking was a breeze, and I used the valet service throughout my stay. It was quick, prompt, and made things so much easier. The hotel itself is extremely clean and well-maintained. My room was spotless, quiet, and the bed was super comfortable—I slept so well each night. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, keeping everything fresh and tidy without ever being intrusive. Overall, the Portola Hotel provided a relaxing, hassle-free experience in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Monterey! "
