"minor point... it can be a labrinth to get to your room. it's the personality of the real estate. however, if a staff member can see there's a deer in the head lights look in a "client" after being told the navigation instructions, recognize that and make sure there is staff available to help navigate the premises."

"This place was AMAZING!! The complimentary breakfast and wine happy hour were such a special touch that also brought all the guest's together. Whenever I am back in Pacific Grove, I will be stayingat the Charles. :) One of the best stays I have had in a long time."

"We are a family of five traveling with 3 young children. We asked for a crib and they provided a pack n play that had a hard surface. This is my only complaint. For the amount of money one spends here, I wish they would invest in a decent foldable mini crib with a much more comfortable bed for babies to sleep on. I had to use two pillows and cover them with a blanket to make it more comfortable for my daughter to sleep. Ive stayed at a different hotel that has offered a mini crib that is much...

"BEWARE, NO air-conditioning, needed windows to be open. We stayed in a city view room on the top floor. VERY NOISY till the wee hours and woken by garbage and delivery trucks every morning! That being said the room was BEAUTIFUL!! enjoyed the breakfast service and happy hour in the lobby."

"We had another beautiful stay at The Clement. The staff was friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the housekeeping and bell staff. The location is the best in town, and the bed…I wish I could take it home with me! I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Clean room, friendly staff, walkable but at night I feel you need some precautions. You have self-parking for an extra. No breakfast was included."

"Beautiful property, great location, the staff was very kind and helpful."

"This nearly-new hotel is perfectly situated in Pacific Grove, just 2 blocks from the beach and Lover's Point. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with a balcony facing the courtyard. There was some noise from live music and the courtyard lounge, so if you want a quiet room, ask for an outside-facing one. Staff were courteous and helpful, and it was a smooth stay. Would definitely recommend and return to stay again."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were uniquely decorated which adds a little life. The location is right next to everything so you can walk anywhere. Would recommend."

"Beautiful and charming inn! Carpets and breakfast could be better but we loved our time there and enjoyed the beautiful views."

"The woman that checked me in both days was so warm, friendly and welcoming. I don’t remember her name but really loved her kind and friendly service. The room was very clean, had a pleasant smell upon checking in, even the floor felt clean enough to walk barefoot. I also like that you’re able to park right outside of your room, makes it feel safer and easy to load your things in and out. Had a really relaxing stay and will be back whenever we need a room in the area. Always enjoy our stays at...
