"Pet friendly but charge $50 per night, which seems silly. Older cottages, common in Carmel, but some of the furniture in the rooms need updating- stains on rugs, tears on fabrics. Tree sap on outdoor chairs.
Biggest issue is that in a room for 4 people - 2 get a converted leather couch that flattens to a full, not a queen but a full-size. And then there's nowhere to put your suitcases. Staff only offered a room upgrade for second night, but we were settled and unpacked and leaving the next day...
