My son is a student and lives in Edinburgh, I asked if he could join me for breakfast. Not only did they say yes, they said there was no charge - how nice is that? Beside all the cereals , home made Scottish porridge and bowls of fresh fruit . There was a menu listing everything . From smoked salmon to a full Scottish breakfast . This contained 2 eggs , 2 rashers bacon , sausage , tomato , mushrooms , black pudding , haggis , tatties , toast , and a bowl of beans . fruit juice , coffee . All made by Mirella's father . "Great location for city. Really terrible cheap mattress, you could feel every spring digging in your back or side. I feel sorry for the students staying at this uni. Everything else was good, but if you want to sleep well, go elsewhere. "
