"This is our go-to hotel when want a few days away. It’s location is perfect for visits to Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bath and many of the other beautiful area’s around this hotel. "This is an older building with lots of character. The bedroom was huge with lots of space and a view over the garden. The bed was comfy, although the mattress did seem to sag in the middle a little. The bathroom was nicely decorated, but I was a little surprised their wasn't any shampoo/conditioner in addition to the shower gel. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. We did have a drink from the bar after hours, which was allowed but the chap serving us didn't really have a clue so...
