"Highly recommend. Charming boutique in the heart of Cancun - close to excellent street side tacos as well as restaurants and bars. Only a 5 min walk to the Walmart if you need any snacks or groceries. The staff is incredibly helpful if you need anything and the restaurant breakfast is very good."

"This was a great stay. Very large suite. Pristine and the bed was so comfortable. It was so helpful to have the kitchen for heating up leftovers. Staff was friendly and I was so happy that they provided excellent customer service when I had questions."

"I had a good stay at Villa Sofia! Roberto was a genuinely friendly host. It's a very small hotel so it feels a bit more like a hostel, which I loved. The shared kitchen was a very welcome and practical amenity, especially that there is a supermarket nearby. Some minor inconveniences, by example there was no hot water and the issue was only fixed on the day of checkout. Although Cancun is very hot this time of year so I didn't mind the lukewarm showers. It's also too bad the pool was closed for 2...

And the breakfast was not just a roll and coffee, but a full,hot breakfast! The location was convenient, within walking distance to Las Palapas, many restaurants and shops. "The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall, the experience was good. However, the biggest downside was the water, which had a very bad smell and made the stay less enjoyable. Hopefully, the hotel can look into this issue and improve the water quality. With that improvement, the experience would be much better."
