"Great stay at the Bo18 hotel in Budapest. Very friendly and helpful staff morning and night, clean rooms and functional bathrooms with good showers. The breakfast was wonderful with great options, including scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, veggie and fruit options, yogurt, multiple bread and pastry offerings and several coffee/tea choices. Would definitely stay here again. "

The location is excellent--it is on a very quiet and peaceful street near restaurants that locals go to while also being close to tourist attractions and tourist nightlife--also a 10 minute walk from bus to airport. "Good service, helped us check in and guided on what to so. Platform bed was in bad condition with rails falling. Overall, just a night stay is ok. It had common kitchen, so not what I wanted. Bathroom was in the room, but smelly. Room was OK. Not worth what I paid, but none other was available either at that time for cheaper price. "

"It is convenient to stay here before departing at Liszt Ferenc Airport, taxi cost is manageable. The room is very nice, however the air condition could not cool it down to a comfortable level in time. There is a system,that no electricity in the room, when is not occupied. Breakfast was very nice, but could not utilize it because it is open at 7am and for air travel you need to be at the Airport early. However, I was able to take out a few item in a container."

"This was going to be a much higher rated review due to the value this room had and its location to the metro, however, on our last night, someone entered our room during the day while we were gone (with the Do Not Disturb sign on the door handle), turned off the A/C and took the remote for the A/C. "Escala is a tight efficient hotel right off of the Corvin Plaza. For the small footprint it provides a lot of comfort. Many units have partial kitchens and some even have working washing machines for clothes. The breakfast in the morning is worth it and staff are accommodating to guests from around the world. The hotel is a 4 block walk from Semmelweis Kliniknak M3 Metro Station which connects directly from the airport (and has a platform to surface elevator unlike Corvin). This has been a great...

"The receptionist was amazing. Very nice person and accommodating. We had booked apartment late around 7pm and we called right after booking and they were ready for us. We had a nice big 3 beds room apartment. Modern furnished, big terrace, apartment was clean. A/C in living room. Shutters on windows for better sleep. It was an excellent stay. "
