"It is a lovely chalet and everyone was impressed by how cosy, clean and convenient it is. I think the chalet looks better in person than on the photos.We are a family of 2 adults 2 little children and we could walk to the beach directly from the holiday village via a public pathway through farmland and it wasn't too challenging for the children to walk there (they still needed a little help). The chalet has a kitchen with everything needed which was really useful. I did a supermarket shopping in Bude and so we saved quite a lot simply by eating at the chalet. There's an outside shared lawn that the children could play on. The heated pool was really nice and not as deep which was reassuring, with children pool adjacent to it, and there's also a sauna which was good. They also offer paid spa treatments but I didn't use these but prices look cheaper than what you would normally pay in my area.Widemouth beach was gorgeous with stunning views. We also went to see Tintagel castle which is 30 min away by car and Bude which is about 10 min away by car. Communication with Nicki was quick and spot on and I can also say she's a very kind person.We had a great family time. Thank you :)"

"We had a party of 11 ranging between 6 and 66 and all had a great time in the excellent Tregarden. The property is 5 minutes from the beach ad has stunning views over the coastline.Despite a couple of minor problems at the start of the holiday Genevieve and John the owners couldn't have been more helpful and sorted them out straight away.I would highly recommend Tregarden for a family hoilday. "

"This cottage is slightly dated and quirky but clean and contained all the necessary items for a weekend visit without the necessity to buy any cleaning products or basics tea, toilet roll etc.A secluded location with many steps but worth the trek. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again."

"The cottage was about a 30 minute walk from the beach but not suitable for young children as it’s all country roads. It’s about a 5 minute drive which is great! The check in process was very simple and easy with great communication from the property hosts. The cottage had good facilities throughout as well as substantial space for parking. Bedding and bathroom were all clean and tidy apart from blankets on sofa were a bit sandy. The only aspects we would say weren’t as strong were safety / privacy features. Eg, there was no key for the first front door to the porch so you had to leave it unlocked. There was also no curtain across either door so anyone could see in which wasn’t great for privacy, especially at night time. Some of the PAT testing had also expired on some of the kitchen appliances which needs updating. There was also no instructions left for the key for the safe. The bathroom door also didn’t lock. If booking for a long weekend where you’re out and about or surfing and need somewhere to stay, it’s great, just some small things needed to update. A good stay had overall."
