"We had the best experience with this beautiful Ryokan. The staff was so sweet, the food was amazing, and the room was 10 out off 10. I definitely recommend this amazing Ryokan. I do recommend to know the basics of Japanese to better communicate with the staff. The location was as well perfect, walk distance from the main attractions and that made it easier for us to visit them without having many tourist around."

"I stayed in a non-themed Queen room, and had a very enjoyable experience, with clean facilities friendly staff and ideal location for sight seeing. We also greatly appreciated the foot massager especially after the long days of sight seeing. "Good location near subway station and temples in Higashiyama. Extremely quite neighbourhood. The experience is very Japanese: lots of sliding shoji screen doors, futons, tatami mats, narrow spaces, very steep staircase.
