We chose the property for the location as well as the amenities (indoor heated pool and hot tub). Unfortunately neither of them worked. The kids were pretty bummed out about that. "Got a basic room to break up a 12 hour drive. It met our needs with a 1 cup coffee maker, small microwave & small refrigerator with no freezer for our ice chest keeper. The front desk staff very kindly kept the freezer pack in their break room. They gave more coffee filters, advice on where to eat & when to avoid rush hour traffic in the morning. "The lodge was opened to the public in 2022. Prior to that, it was used exclusively for UCLA alumni. It the past few months, guests now have access to the private trails that run alongside the Arrowhead Lake. In addition, the North Shore Tavern next to main lodge is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner."

"The hotel was veery clean. The staff could have been a little more helpful in answering questions on check-in forms. I didn't eat breakfast. Parking was very adequate."

"Super friendly and helpful staff! Room was so clean and spacious, we even had the breakfast in the morning and it was delicious! Overall amazing experience and will definitely be staying again when in the area!"
