"I learned from the night front desk clerk that each room is individually owned and decorated. I really enjoyed the quaintness of the Inn and convenience to the lighthouse, pier, shops, restaurants and golf. I can't say enough about Mr. Dawson, he went beyond is duty when he brought an ironing board to my room. I thought that was very thoughtful, professional and awesome customer service. He recieves two thumbs up from me. "

"This is an amazing home. Located on a short dead end road with very few homes, very quiet. The house is very clean, well designed and spacious. The bed in the master was very comfortable, the master bath and shower is amazing. The kitchen had a good amount of pots, pans, utensils, cups, dishes and silverware. The master is on the main, and three guest beds with their own baths upstairs were fantastic ( although we did not use). The pool, while on the smaller side was a great place to hang out on a hot summer day with some shade from the bamboo and screened in porch to avoid the blazing sun at certain times of the day. The apartments behind the house do have a view into the pool area, but they all have their blinds closed and we never once felt as if we were being watched. There are small side yards on both sides of the house with pine straw for a dog to hang out that aren’t in the pictures, and we felt it was very secure. The home is a 2-5 minute drive to 3 beach areas, and easily accessible on a bike or golf cart. A few local restaurants are minutes away, too. Walking is also possible as the area is very pedestrian friendly. Additionally, there is a small gas station around the corner if case you need some immediate supplies. We also enjoyed watching the small planes take off overhead from the pool. It’s not loud or very frequent and not a noise concern at all. I highly recommend this home, and will definitely be back. I can’t recommend it enough."

"The Grey Owl was a precious surprise! We (3 adults) had the best room, Melody's Roost, and it was spectacular! Stained glass decor, massage beds (!), a sleeper sofa with privacy screen--it's listed for 5 but it could sleep 4 adults and 2 well behaved small children on that sofa bed. The tub and shower in the master bath are epic. The room was quiet, and the grounds were gated so parking felt as secure as my home garage! Teresa greeted us and was so sweet! She gave us the full tour and offered help with our bags up the single flight of stairs. My 89 year old friend with the double knee replacement made the climb, and she said it was completely worth it when she saw the room! Breakfast was hot and served to (pre) order! We all want to visit again, maybe make a long weekend of it. Keycode entries, directions to the beach, and soothing neighborhood. A gorgeous, spacious, repeatable stay worth every penny!"
