"Ideal location, really close to subway. Staff were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Room was small but perfectly adequate. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Would stay here again any time I visit New York"

"Our stay was very nice. Two issues: We received a VIP benefit of a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival. When I asked at the front desk, they said it was already in the refrigerator in our room. It wasn't, but they gave it to me at the front desk with two coupons for buy one get one free margaritas which was very nice of them. The amount of elevators they have for the floors of retail/restaurants which are open to the public and the amount of floors is not adequate at all. We had to wait multiple times in non peak hours for elevators with enough room. Also, there are no back elevators so you will sometimes have to make the choice of riding with commercial trash cans that smell or waiting for 1-3 more elevators. Would also be nice if they would have a hot tub to use year rounds."

"I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The only problem was that I had no HOT water. It was barely tepid. However, the hotel gave me a $45 credit because of this problem. The bed was glorious: silky smooth sheets and firm mattress. The room was large and pretty. The hotel is attached to Grand Central Station so you don't even have to exit/enter through 42nd street should it rain or snow. Also, the $15 toward breakfast in their market was much appreciated. Were it not for the water problem (quite possibly unique to that room) I'd have rated the hotel a 5."

"Small room as you would expect but modern, clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly. Gym was small and empty every time I used it. Location in mid-town was perfect especially if arriving by train because you can walk there from Penn Sta."
