"Location is excellent for walking around old town. The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. Amenities are limited. It would be nice if there was a coffee maker in the room. My recommendation is this: do NOT stay in any room that overlooks the street. You will not sleep due to the street noises. People party hard in Old San Juan and they carry the party into the streets when the bars close. Also, traffic is heavy during peak season and many are booming their music. We also endured a lot of construction vehicles and work being done on the property across from us (they started around 5am) We were in room 22; a lovely room, but the “windows” overlooking the street have wooden doors which offer no sound-proofing. So, if you want to sleep, insist on an inside room away from the street. Hope this helps. Old San Juan is worth seeing!"

"Absolutely perfect 3.5 star hotel. No complaints whatsoever - but I just can't give it a 5 because its not a " 5 star" hotel. Would book again. "

"Everything was wonderful. Just think the hours should be longer. We couldn’t check in until 4pm but we had to check out by 10am. "

"The location was perfect. Right above the famous Anitas Gelatos and next to the Governors Mansion. Definitely dont rent if you cannot climb stairs, but my family didnt mind it too much considering this was OLD San Juan. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because even though we had 2 patios, we didnt have much of a view in either one and the patios were pretty much useless unless you want to eat there and stare at a wall. Didnt have direct sun on the patios either so we couldnt even sit outside to sun bathe. If you want a balcony or patio with a view do not get the PH suite. "

"Is a great base of operation to explore the city, staff were wonderful and helpful. Rooftop bar and pool were a great place to chill and recoup before going out again"
