The hotel is barely a block from King street, which is a main thoroughfare for food and shopping. It is a mile from City Market, which may be a little long for some, but we walked it with a toddler and stroller, and it was easy and safe. Staff was friendly and helpful. "The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....
