"A really excellent stay. The property was maintained to a high standard and we met the owner who takes a keen interest in how things are going, who you are etc - a lovely cultured lady and a real point of difference from the one size fits all big hotel. Ideally located in central Venice but quiet too, we’d heartily recommend this property and will return again soon hopefully. "

"What a wonderful little local hotel. The location is amazing for Venice. Just a 3 min walk from Accademia water bus stop. At the end of the block is the dock for day trips to Murano as well. Venice is surrounded by smaller canals so unless you take a water taxi for $50 from the airport, you’re gonna have to drag your suitcase up and down bridges or get a luggage delivery service. That’s why this hotel is at a great location. It can be a bit noisy around opening or closing time for the museum...

"Amazing people and so very nice. A great atmosphere and location. The rooms need a bit of TLC and updating, although the bathrooms are new. There were a lot of stairs to our room with a magnificent view, which wasn't their fault."

Locanda Ca' San Vio

"We had a good stay in Venice. It wasn't far from La Accademia stop via the vaporetto which is ideal as it isn't fun or easy carting luggage around. The locanda is a small charming inn and the owner was friendly and hospitable. We got into town late and he was very flexible in accomodating us. Breakfast was cornetti's (Italian Croissant's) and bread with butter and jam, orange juice and capuccino. It was delicious and the cappucino was fantastic. Highly recommend it. Ok the only cons were the...
