"A wonderful property right on the water. We stayed in one of their new private cabins which are absolutely stellar with floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the harbor and a private patio with sitting area. The room has another sitting area with a mini-fridge.

"The property is a beautiful old house in a delightful historic village. The owner has decorated it with taste and style and everything is of the finest quality. The owner also goes to a lot of trouble to make your stay comfortable, providing breakfast early for us before we headed to the airport and phoning the village pub to see if they had a table before our arrival. I couldn't recommend it highly enough - 10 out of 10 is just not enough!"

"The Links House is a very special Inn in the Scottish Highlands. The rooms are elegantly decorated and very comfortable. The food in the Mara restaurant was excellent. Dornoch is a historic town in the area and is a short walk from Links House. The first tee of Royal Dornoch Golf Club is only a few steps away. Lastly, the staff is very friendly and customer oriented."
