"We stayed to go to the cricket stadium to see Foo Fighters. Four stops on the tram from the nearby Barton Dock Road tramstation followed by a fairly short walk. We got back by 11.30pm so were able to have a drink in the bar. They needed more staff on the bar on a busy night like that. Breakfast was very good. Bed very comfortable and room on top floor was quiet. I would stay there again. "

"Starting with the positives, every member of staff we encountered was exceptionally helpful and great to deal with. "Very poor hotel. I was staying a few miles away for half the price and the rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. As I was working away with a colleague I booked 2 family rooms. The rooms are dated and not up to standard. I had no towels in my room and there was only 1 in the other FAMILY room I booked. "Honestly if I could give it more that 5 stars I would! The staff are AMAZING! They really could not of been more accommodating to make our over night stay run smoothly. They were able to give us late check out last minute and it saved us soo much hassle in our trip."

"Greeted by a pile of dirty bedding and towels in the room, phoned to tell the owners who did nothing about it. Very very dated and not in a quaint way. Not clean at all. Fortunately it was only a one night stay before we flew out on holiday early the next morning. I would not recommend to anyone. Floorboards are ridiculously creaky, if anyone gets up in the night, everyone is woken up! "
