Although the rooms are a little dated, they are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and with paid parking around the corner from the hotel made the stay perfect. The location is perfect for access to Manchester City life whether you want to shop or eat out.

Hotel still looks impressive and beautiful in parts, while looking behind the curtains will reveal how tired it is some places; my personal opinion as someone who has stayed there several times: if you can live with small flaws and don't need a modern decor in the rooms, the Britannia offers good value for money and the location is just perfect (very central); please also keep in mind that room prices are usually below those of other hotels in the area.

this is a very good hotel for the price. the location is excellent and although the rooms are basic there is nothing really to complain about. comfortable bed, the shower worked well. there was luggage space, tea and coffee making facilities, good television and again a brilliant location.
