"We stayed to go to the cricket stadium to see Foo Fighters. Four stops on the tram from the nearby Barton Dock Road tramstation followed by a fairly short walk. We got back by 11.30pm so were able to have a drink in the bar. They needed more staff on the bar on a busy night like that. Breakfast was very good. Bed very comfortable and room on top floor was quiet. I would stay there again. "

"The room was a non smoking room yet it had a ashtray on the dresser (which was dirty with cigarette ash) the trouser press was loosely fitted to wall with one screw and u/s a number of the pictures affixed to the wall were UPSIDE-DOWN, and the room carpet was without a relationship with a vacuum cleaner. The rooms are dated and not up to standard. I had no towels in my room and there was only 1 in the other FAMILY room I booked.
