"Pleasant, small hotel in Fuessen, a 10-minute drive from Neuschwanstein castle. Stayed with kids. Check-in lobby is down a narrow, one-way cobblestone street in town centre; space to park in front of lobby for check-in, then had to move car to large city parking lot about a 10-minute walk away. Front desk was manned by a young man who was friendly and efficient and very helpful with luggage and taking us to our room - thank you. Room was in separate building one block away from lobby building....

"I made reservations to stay at this hotel, and paid in full, over 2 months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 pm to check in and drop off our bags, they did not have our reservation. I had paper copies, and emails, showing that we had in fact reserved a room. The manager had zero interest in trying to solve the problem and told us he couldn’t help us and there were no rooms available. This was our first day in Europe after an overnight flight from the US.
