"Charming old stone storybook house, sweet and friendly proprietors. It has the feel of a youth hostel, with a little outside garden, piano, shared bath and kitchen access. You get to old town via a walk and metro ride, and it's just fine if you are not in a rush. The vieux neigborhood surrounding the 'refuge' is interesting and there's a walking path nearby where you can see all the people who live here walking their dogs and so on....delightful!"

"Immediately upon arrival we were met with such wonderful and pleasant staff and throughout our stay everyone we dealt with was so professional and happy to help. The hotel was everything we needed and so accommodating with all our needs. The restaurant was exceptional and both so many options and the bar was exactly what we needed after hard days. Definitely will stay again if in Montreal! Thx for making our experience so easy and great! "
