"Staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and to assist us. The hotel was quaint and full of character. Also, we tried breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant during our stay and both were delicious!"

"Our room was adequate for our stay but had an odd dormer style roof line which limited space. Breakfast was amazing with choices and options"

"Annex room had faulty shower so receptionist upgraded us to main hotel family room with bath. Very good service."

"The hotel is well located for the city and has comfortable rooms. It is an older style building and our room needed us to go up and down a few steps even on the right level. The other side of the hotel seemed level so just beware when booking if this important to you. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection although on our last day it looked like a large tour group had just finished and they had cleaned out a number of items and it was taking a bit of time to restock. There is no car park but we found street parking easy to find within a couple of minutes walk. "

"Overall a great stay. I chose a twin room on the hotels.com site but they sent a double to the hotel itself. The staff was extremely helpful and was able to work out a fix. Only criticism is that the dining room was super warm during breakfast. Maybe because all the old people? "

"This is a perfectly reasonable hotel. Customer service was in general tip top. Very clean, very secure. Inverness itself is not a very large city. You can see what there is to see in terms of historical buildings and good shopping in a day easy. Because the old town is so small, one is never too far away from the sketchy portions if you stay in old town. Our goal was to be out just a bit, but still walkable. This hotel was perfect for that. The rooms are a bit dated but are equipped with good, current TVs. I expect to visit Inverness again, and will plan to stay here again when I do."

"Stayed in the cells for one night!! Is very small and compact but very quirky! Really enjoyed our stay but if it was for longer would prefer a double room"
