"Pros: Beautiful view of Loch across from the hotel. Area was quiet and felt safe. Bathrooms were well lit. Blackout curtains were sufficient. Breakfast buffet was well done - we have several food allergies in our family and they very cheerfully helped us determine which foods might be best for us. Cons: Bathrooms could use an update or at least a better cleaning. Towels were a bit dingy and even stained. We got in late evening and left early morning, so we did not spend much time in the hotel. It met our family’s needs and we would recommend to anyone on a budget looking to stay in the Ft. William area. "

"The hotel and surroundings are beautiful and welcoming. The room was clean and nicely decorated with both a tub and a shower! We had a king size bed which was very comfortable. Black out drapes were nice given we were not used to the long days of this latitude and the time change from where we live. It was quiet with a nice view of the countryside/golf course. The breakfast is well worth it and I found a new love for haggis! Delightful stay! We would love to come back to Inverness as there is so much to see AND partake in the hotel resort's spa! Next time perhaps..."

"This is a really nice hotel and it had everything we expected in Inverness. Cozy and accomodating to our needs. We traveled with kids and most relevant of all was the presence of Molly, a pet whose owner worked at the reception, an extremely nice pet that made our kids happy playing fetch in the greener grass ever and on a superb weather. Breakfast was very good. We got there a little late the night before, having to travel long hours to know Scotland's highland, yet the cheff was kind enough to stay longer to be able to serve our family some dinner. Being an Outlander fan I found that "Jimy Fraser" stayed in the room nest to mine, culliden and clava cairns was really closed to the hotel, which made it easier to complete my list of places to viait. I recommend thia hotel with eyes closed, you will not regret it. "

"What a lovely gem to luck into : close to the isle 0f Skye ( just over the bridge ) but well placed , quiet and proudly Scots ( great tartan i go in the corridor walls ). We hopped over the bridge for a meal then relaxed in the super clean rooms . There’s a great guest sitting room with lots of squishy sofas but we were too tired to enjoy . However , huge five stars to the breakfast ; ‘ full Scottish ‘ plus great tasting fruit salad and selection of breads , cereals etc Would absolutely stay string "

"Such a beautiful and unique hotel with a lot of charm and history. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The town of Strathpeffer is beautiful, quaint and peaceful. I am so glad I stayed here rather than in a bigger city like Inverness. Some of the interiors are a bit outdated, so if you are looking for something super modern and high tech, this may not be for you. "

"About a 15 minute walk to main area with restaurants and pubs. Quiet and comfortable. Spacious room with sink and microwave. I was concerned about noise given that it was named “hotel and bar” but it was lovely."
