"This is the third time coming to the Nar Bis Hotel and I have never been disappointed. SANTOSH and his lovely family are so kind and generous.The hotel is alittle way out of main Pokhara but well worth the walk ,taxi or bus into town as it is so peaceful and with such amazing views over the lake.There are little shops around for necessities and a couple of really chilled out beach bars a few meters away.The rooms are large and very comfortable and each has a balcony with the best views ever.Free...

"Our family of 3 stayed here 3 days before our trek and a few days afterwards as well. Spotless room and grounds. Great breakfast. The garden sitting and terrace area is what sets this apart from many places, as it is amazing and gives everyone a very nice place to relax. Hot showers and good wifi. Family-friendly for sure and if one looks, you can play with the family dog or cat as they are wandering about. Less than 2 minute walk to Lakeside road. "

"This may have been the nicest place I stayed in Nepal, but I only stayed at a couple other places, and it is 4 star at best. The place itself was nice, but for shower hot water I had to call the desk each day to get them to heat up the water. The shower actually had a shower curtain, which was a positive I learned for Nepal. Also the green area in the picture is an illustion in that it is a park, not part of the property, and the lakeshore is full of litter and other garbage. I found the...
