"In the center of lakeside, 2minute walk to the main street and the lake with all the shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Bottled water in the room and replaced on request. Room cleaning available daily if you want. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They arranged our taxi to chitwan for us. Breakfast was basic but a good start to the day. We loved pokhara and would definitely stay at the crystal Palace...

"This may have been the nicest place I stayed in Nepal, but I only stayed at a couple other places, and it is 4 star at best. The place itself was nice, but for shower hot water I had to call the desk each day to get them to heat up the water. The shower actually had a shower curtain, which was a positive I learned for Nepal. Also the green area in the picture is an illustion in that it is a park, not part of the property, and the lakeshore is full of litter and other garbage. I found the...

"I'd paid for an economy room and got what I paid for. My room was tiny but perfectly adequate, I only really needed a bed and a shower as I wasn't planning to be in the hotel that much. The management were very helpful and friendly in fact I got a knock on my door in the morning to tell me that there was a good view of Fishtail Mountain if I wanted to go up to the roof to have a better look. "Perfect way to unwind after trekking. Free fruit platter. Staff was always attentive. Suggest more reasonable prices / packages for laundry especially given that lots of trekkers will be interested in using it. But if you do stay know many laundry services will wash and fold for 200 rupees per kilo. "

"I feel very comfortable in this hotel. It is a great space for the price. Rooms are cleaned every day. Owners are very helpful and friendly. It is in Lakeside, a very touristy area but the neighbors are nice also. It is 2 blocks from the lake. When the power goes out, they have solar power and solar WiFi. This is a Nepali hotel with Western features or you can have smaller less expensive rooms that are truly Nepali."
