"The location was great and the staff was very kind and helpful. The logistics of getting to the hotel could be a bit more descriptive as it’s a little tricky! But once we found the correct parking lot we were well taken care of and the really nice crew got us up to the hotel in the old city. Those guys work hard and are so helpful! "An unassuming hotel about ten minutes walk from the cathedral and the canal. There’s secure parking at the hotel but it’s limited and the streets around don’t offer many safe places to park. The hotel itself is fine, bedrooms are clean and comfortable and only real complaint was very expensive breakfast. "

"Went for a week in the beautiful Carcassonne. The hotel was in a perfect location and the rooms and bar were lovely. The housekeeping came and cleaned up the rooms and put new towels in the every day! I especially liked the Google Chromecast! Came in very useful. "

"When we arrived at the hotel it had closed down four weeks previously. A notice on the door informed us to which hotel we had been transferred. This was difficult to access as the hotel next to The Chevalier( our new destination) was still under construction. There was no drop off point for luggage and my husband had to carry all bags from a car park about 7 minutes walk away. We were greeted by black billowing smoke.
