"The property was large and was a good base to use being about 20 minutes from a beach and about 10 minutes walk from a park with swings etc for the grandchildren. It was about 5 minutes drive from an Aldi and Lidl. "

"Comfortable, spacious cottage. Excellent dining room facilities and a cosy lounge. Fantastic hot tub for 4 (not 8 as listed) and a huge bonus that it is covered, allowing you to sill use it in the rain. A less than 5 minute walk to the pub, however it is along a very busy main road without a path and only safe in daylight. With a more comfortable mattress in the main bedroom and either a hot tub top up visit (or access to a hose to do it yourself) this would have earned a 5 star review from us."

The cottage has all the amenities you could ask for and was spotlessly clean. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to spend a quiet break in County Durham. Say hi to the llamas!"
