"Decent and clean for a quick stay. We arrived around 11PM met by a grumpy person. Don't get why the staff would be sleeping in the reception area. Is there no room for the staff? Does the owner value the money they get for a single room more than looking professional?"

"First impression upon arrival not fantastic due to some tall weeds and a downed branch that had broken the fence in front yard. Inside there was lots of space, adequate furnishings, and nice finishes but some pre-existing damage to walls. Had an electrical issue when some circuits stopped working and couldn’t find breaker to reset. Overall, hosts were very accommodating and location is good for access to Concord area including BART."

"The owner characterizes this place as a retreat and it was exactly that for us.We chose it because of proximity to relatives (that was the reason for our visit) but we didn't know that there was a trail one block from the house that we could walk every morning before going to do family stuff.Having two full bathrooms gave us a lot more flexibility and it was absolutely the best equipped that we have ever stayed in! The kitchen had everything, especially in contrast to the other home shares I've stayed at lately."
