Pacific Palms Resort

"Although the resort is older, it is clean and well-maintained overall; however, our stay was completely ruined by defective room temperature controls and the staff's total lack of problem-solving ability. During very cold weather, the room temperature remained frozen at 69°F, and turning up the thermostat only produced cold air. When I complained, the front desk quickly moved us to another room, but the new room had the exact same heating issue. An engineer was sent to inspect it, but he admitted he did not know what was wrong and simply told us to sleep with extra blankets; to make matters worse, he falsely reported back to the front desk that everything was fine because the target temperature was set high, leading the front desk to offer no further assistance. Despite the clean property, the severe incompetence and failure to resolve a basic heating problem rendered our experience terrible, and I cannot recommend this resort."

"There is no Front lobby because of construction and was hard to find. A few bugs in the room but otherwise very clean. Staff was attentive and the breakfast was wonderful. Great hotel for a night or 2."

"Hotel is fine, has basic lodging, comfortable beds and pillows. Room was quiet. t's somewhat outdated and worn. Multiple coffee packets for in-room coffee maker were poorly made and unusable (would leave grounds in the cup). Front desk could be more welcoming and friendly. But, the hotel was basically clean, located near a lot of shopping and restaurants, and breakfast was nice."

"The building and rooms are older but still okay. Our room wasn't very clean when we arrived. There was crushed chips on the floor in the living room, the bathroom floor was dirty and a case of beer cans and dirty diapers on the patio. My kids feet were black after walking around barefooted. We had to pay to park in their parking lot per night, which I think is strange since they have a lot of parking. I think a paid reservationshould get one free parking spot. The breakfast is good and made it worth."
